Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • To add even more flavor you can top this dish with some fresh parmesan cheese.
  • Using a brick of Feta will work the best, but if you can’t find a brick of cheese you can take crumbles and push them together as much as you can to form a brick of cheese.
  • Add a protein. If you want to add a protein I would use chicken! Grab a rotisserie chicken from the store and then once your Tomato and feta pasta is cooked mix it in for even more flavor!
  • Don’t stop there! You can add in all kinds of other vegetables to this dish!

You can store your leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.

  1. Found that 3 minutes is way too little time, and a whole box of pasta (penne) needed more liquid. Ended up doing 7 minutes pressured, 2 minutes slow release, than did a QR.

Went with a can of diced tomatoes, liquid included, along with 1 cup of veggie broth, and added water to bring it up to 2 cups of liquid. Rest was the same as the recipe, though when it was done, I added about a 1/3 cup of sour cream which made it much more sauce like. It also didn’t need any added salt, as the feta was quite salty enough on its own.

Came out really good the second time I made the recipe, with the adjustments. Quite delicious!

    1. @Derek, I totally agree. Not enough liquid. I knew that before I started and added 3/4 cup. Still needed a bit more.

  2. With 1c liquid my pot said BURN even before it was up to pressure. Added more water , probably double, and it was fine. Not my favorite way to make this but know better for next time.
