Tips Tricks and FAQs
- You can adjust the seasonings and vegetables to your tastes and preferences.
- If you prefer spaghetti sauce that has less meat you can use ½ pound of ground beef instead of a pound.
- If your family doesn’t like chunks of tomatoes in their sauce, be sure to use them throughout the cooking process because it adds so much flavor. Once it is cooked, you can remove the stewed tomato skins before serving them.

- Double the recipe if you are feeding a crowd.
Storage
You will want to store your spaghetti sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Can I make this without meat?
Yes, you can make this homemade spaghetti sauce without meat. If you opt to make it without meat it will change the consistency and flavor of the sauce.

I recommend using stewed tomatoes because they are cooked in seasonings and are softer and sweeter than using canned tomatoes. You can use any kind of tomato if you prefer, but it will alter the flavor.
