Tips Tricks and FAQs
- When it comes to the cheese it is best to buy a block of cheese and grate your own. It mixes and melts much better than the already shredded cheese that you buy from the store.
- Choose any combination of cheese that you prefer. Some great cheese options are Mozzarella, Colby Jack, Gouda, Provolone, Cheddar, and Monterey Jack.
- Your dough will be a thick wet dough when you are mixing the ingredients. You will want to use a wooden spoon or a Danish dough hook. You do not want to use a hand mixer because the dough is too sticky and thick.
- If you don’t have silicone mats you can grease a cookie sheet or use a sheet of parchment paper as well.
- If you want to omit the garlic powder you can.
- You will want to check your biscuits after 10 minutes. Be sure they are a nice golden brown color before removing them from the oven.
- Brush your biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven with melted butter.
- You can add cooked bacon crumbles to your biscuit dough if you would like even more flavor.
