Tips & Tricks
- Even Coating is Key: Gently rotate the bag every hour (or as often as you can) to ensure every cracker is coated evenly.
- Use Fresh Ingredients: Opt for fresh ranch seasoning packets and spices to get the best flavor.
- Don’t Skip the Resting Time: Letting the crackers soak overnight is crucial for maximum flavor absorption.
- Clean Storage: Once the crackers are ready, transfer them to a fresh bag or airtight container for easy snacking.
- Adjust the Heat: If you prefer a milder snack, reduce the crushed red pepper to 1 tablespoon. For extra heat, add more!
- Store these crackers in a sealed container or baggie for up to 1 week. I do not suggest refrigerating or freezing these.
- You can use vegetable oil in place of canola, but I’ve never tried other oils to know if any other options are viable.
