Tips Tricks and FAQs
- When making your crockpot Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken and rice opt for a skinless and boneless chicken. This includes breasts, tenders, or thighs (which will add even more flavor to the dish).
- You will find Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce in most grocery stores in the sauce aisle.
- Be sure to layer your ingredients in your crockpot according to the recipe to ensure proper cooking.
- You will want to use thawed chicken. Do not add frozen chicken to this dish.
- Be sure to check your chicken to make sure it is done. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees.
- Add parmesan cheese to the top of your dish when serving if you prefer. It will add to the saltiness of the dish, so use it sparingly.
Can I use a different rice
You can use either brown rice or white rice. I tested a recipe using brown rice and was not happy with the consistency (some was still a bit crunchy) although you absolutely can use it. You can also use white rice, which some have said can be mushy. I found the minute rice to work the best but you can easily sub it for another rice.
Storage
Before storing, be sure that your crockpot Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Chicken and rice is cooled to room temperature. Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Freezer
This dish freezes nicely. Place in a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer. This will keep for up to 3 months.
When you are ready to enjoy, thaw in the fridge overnight and reheat in the microwave to your desired temperature.
