I used it the other day to make Crockpot Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Pasta and my family was raving about it! So I decided to create an Instant Pot version that is quick, easy, still has the same amount of creaminess, and is packed with flavor.
Your family is going to love this dish for so many reasons!

How to Make Instant Pot Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Pasta
- Add in ½ of the bottle of parmesan garlic sauce + ½ Cup Water into the bottom of your pot.
- Lay chicken breasts over top of your sauce.
- Add the remaining sauce over the top of your chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle ¼ cup of parmesan cheese
- Lay your cream cheese block on top.
- Close your lid, set to sealing.
- PC on HIGH for 15 minutes + do a NR (natural release) for 15 minutes.
- Remove your lid. Remove your chicken from the pot and place it in a bowl so that it can be shredded. You can also do it straight in your pot if you are very careful. I like to use my handheld mixer or you can use two forks to shred.
- Turn your pot on to saute (LOW). Add the shredded chicken back in.
- Add in the milk & remaining parmesan cheese. Allow it to thicken a bit.
- Add in your cooked pasta and stir to coat the pasta completely.

Tips Tricks and FAQs
- While we love this dish with pasta, you can easily serve it without. Oftentimes I will eat the chicken with a side salad for a healthier option.
- If you have a bigger Instant Pot you can double this recipe. You just want to ensure you never fill it past the max fill line.
Storage
These leftovers store and reheat so well! Store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Can you freeze this parmesan garlic chicken?
This is one of those dishes that freeze so well! You will want to cook the chicken according to the directions all the way up to adding the pasta. When you get to that step, you will want to remove as much chicken as you would like to freeze and set aside. Let this cool completely.
Once cooled, place it in a freezer-safe bag and store it in the freezer for up to 2 months.
When you are ready to enjoy, thaw in the fridge overnight, warm up and add your cooked pasta.
You don’t want to freeze cooked pasta because the texture changes in the freezing process.
Reheating
To reheat your garlic parmesan chicken pasta you will want to do so in the microwave or warm it up over the store.
Can I Make this in my crockpot?
Yes, you can make Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta in your crockpot. Just hop on over to this post to find out how!

Can you do this recipe with frozen chicken?
Absolutely…. it will just take a bit longer to come to pressure. Enjoy! 🙂
Delicious and easy! I had a slight issue with the dreaded burn warning on my instant pot, but stirred it around a bit and everything else went well. In a house of 6 with teenagers, I rarely find a meal that everyone likes. Everyone went back for seconds tonight!
Do you have the settings and time to cook this in a regular crockpot or does it have to be insta pot!?

We followed the recipe exactly and when we were almost done with the 15 minute cook time we got a “BURN” message on our Instapot!
The chicken was brown on the bottom but was cooked so we sort of chunked it up and went on.
It tasted very good but think we’ll try the Crockpot version next time.
I also think that you could use less pasta than it called for.
What kind of crap is this? Also got a ‘burn’ message on my instapot from following these instructions. Get it together man.
with a 4.6 rating and literally no one else complaining about getting a burn notice, maybe you need to get it together man! 🙂 It happens, it really should not ruin your day.
