I love the smell of holiday scent potpourri bursting through the house this time of year! It is seriously one of my favorite scents of all time! Combine the smell with a warm cup of Peppermint White Hot Chocolate and a Christmas movie and I am in heaven!

The other day I showed you how to make Instant Pot Potpourri so I thought it would be a great idea to show you how to make the same recipe, but in the crockpot to give you lots of options this holiday season.

Making crockpot potpourri is simple. It really comes down to throwing some delicious scents into the crockpot and turning it on warm and letting the scent create an aroma that you will absolutely love. Not only that, but this potpourri makes a great gift idea.

How to make crockpot potpourri

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • This aroma is totally customizable. You can easily omit some of the ingredients or add to them to create a smell that you love that shouts “come in and stay awhile” to all who visit.
  • You want to be sure to keep your crockpot on low. This allows the smells to still percolate through the house.
  • Be sure to check the water level every 5 hours or so. If it is getting low, just add more water.

Storage

This recipe easily stores in the crockpot for up to 3 days. When you want a break from the fragrance, just turn the crockpot to off and place the lid on your pot. When you are ready to start the fragrance again, remove the lid and turn to low.
