Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Once you place the potpourri on the “keep warm” setting you can allow it to sit for up to 5 hours. If you want to have the fresh Christmas aroma spread through the house for longer, you will want to check the water levels and add more water if needed.
  • If you want to add even more flavor you can add lemon slices to the mix.

Giving Instant Pot Potpourri as a gift

This potpourri makes the perfect gift! I love adding the cranberries at the bottom of a mason jar then add all the other spices to the jar. I put the lid on and tie it with a bow and attach the gift tag with the directions.

This gift is always a huge hit and loved! It is perfect for those who you are stumped on what to give them.

Storage

Since this recipe has cranberries, you will want to keep the mason jar in the fridge until used. It will last a week or two in the fridge prior to cooking.

Once cooked, I recommend not reusing. The great thing about this Instant Pot Potpourri is that it is so inexpensive to make every single day.
