Ingredients

2 pounds asparagus, trimmed and cut into thirds
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 to 2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 to 2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 to 2 teaspoons garlic parmesan seasoning or your favorite seasoning
2 tablespoons grated parmesan
½ to 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees.

Trim the ends off the asparagus and cut into 3 equal pieces.

Add the asparagus to a bowl and toss with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, and garlic parmesan seasoning until well coated. Give a good mix.

Drizzle the honey and mix again until evenly coated.

Place the asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender and slightly crispy.  If you like your asparagus a bit on the softer side, cook for a few more minutes.

Remove from the air fryer, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with grated parmesan.

Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tips & Tricks

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the asparagus will steam instead of crisp
  • Adjust the honey depending on how sweet you like it
  • Thicker asparagus may need an extra minute or two
  • Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking
  • Fresh grated parmesan melts and tastes better than pre-shredded
