Tips & Tricks
- Make sure to sear the cabbage well. That light charring adds so much flavor and really makes a difference in the final dish.
- Do not skip scraping the bottom of the pan. Those browned bits from the cabbage add incredible depth to the sauce.
- Cut your cabbage wedges evenly so they cook at the same rate.
- If your cabbage is on the thicker side, plan for a longer bake time so it becomes perfectly tender.
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor and smoothest sauce.
- If your skillet is not oven safe, simply transfer everything to a baking dish before baking.
