1 French bread loaf
8 oz imitation crab, chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup blended cottage cheese (blend until smooth and creamy)
1 tablespoon green onions, diced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Sweet chili sauce
Garlic Butter
4 to 6 tablespoons butter, melted
3 to 4 cloves garlic, very finely minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt (if using unsalted butter)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Chop the imitation crab and place it in a large mixing bowl.
Add the softened cream cheese
Add in the blended cottage cheese
Add the diced green onions.
Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar
Then add the Worcestershire sauce.
Mix until everything is well combined and smooth.
Prepare the garlic butter by melting the butter and stirring in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt if needed. Mix until fully combined.
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Gently remove the top layer of the bread from each half without hollowing it out.
Brush each half generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Evenly spread the crab rangoon mixture over the top of both halves.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the crab mixture.
Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, then switch to broil for a few minutes until the cheese is lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and brush the top with sweet chili sauce.
