Tips Tricks and FAQs
1. Annie’s Bunny cookies are the perfect addition to this mix. There are several varieties to choose from. I think the Snickerdoodle flavor is the perfect flavor for this mix, but feel free to use the one you prefer.
2. The smaller items tend to always fall to the bottom of the bowl, so if you are displaying this and don’t see any of the cute small treats, just sprinkle a few more on top.
3. This is the perfect treat that the kids can help with. They can make their own snack bags with little scoopers, or scoop their desired amount out of the big bowl of Easter Trail Mix.
4. Adjust for your family’s preferences. You can easily omit one of the ingredients or replace it with something else. If you prefer to use chocolate chips instead of chocolate candies you can! That is the beauty of this trail mix, there is no wrong way to make it!
Storage
You will want to store your trail mix at room temperature in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. If it is too warm, the chocolate may begin to melt. This will last for about 3 weeks when properly stored.
