Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Get creative! You can use any flavor of Doritos to change up the flavor of these every time you make them.
- When it comes to the Doritos you want to crush them very small. Smaller pieces are best for this recipe.
- If you find your chips getting soggy prior to cooking you can pour the chip crumbs onto the chicken and pat them on to stick. This will help your chip crumbs from becoming mushy.
- You want to be sure you coat your whole tender, so feel free to move some of the crumbs around so the whole chicken is coated evenly.
- Air Fryer cooking times vary for each Air Fryer and size. 12-14 minutes works for most Air Fryers. You want to make sure that you check the internal temperature of your chicken to ensure it is cooked thoroughly.
- Serve this dish with ranch or blue cheese for dipping.
Storage
Fridge
This recipe tastes best if eaten right away. If you have leftovers you can store it in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days. It will become soggy in the fridge.
