Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Rather than sprinkles and glitter on top you can also use Lucky Charms cereal pieces.
  • Be sure to let your cupcakes cool completely prior to spooning out the middle. This will take about 30 minutes.
  • You can use a homemade frosting that you love or one that is premade. Any variety will taste great as long as it is whtie. Cream cheese is a favorite in our house.
  • If you prefer you can use a butter cake mix or a yellow cake mix as well.

Can I make these ahead of time?

You can absolutely bake your cupcakes ahead of time and let them cool. Once cooled, place them in an airtight container. I would wait to spoon out the middle, fill, and frost until you are about ready to serve them.
