Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You can also use canned peaches in heavy syrup if you prefer. Just be sure to use 2 15-ounce cans. If you do this, you will want to omit the sugar.
  • Be sure your baking powder is not expired. If it is, your peach cobbler will not turn out.
  • If you prefer you can cook this on high for about 1 ½ to 2 hours.
  • Be sure to test if the cobbler is done. You do this by inserting a toothpick into the center of the slow cooker to test if the middle is done. Do not pay attention to the outer edges because they will finish prior to the center being done.
  • You can make this cobbler with any filing you have at home.
