Valentine Chocolate Chip M&M Cookies
The other day we were looking at old pictures! One popped up of my son’s birthday from years ago. In the picture, there was a huge plate of Chocolate Chip M&M cookies. He responded, “Those are my favorite cookies!” I had forgotten all about these. So we made a giant batch and let me tell you they are delicious!
You are going to love these cookies! The dough is versatile, and they are always soft and chewy (thanks to the pudding). I love that I can swap out the M&M color for all the upcoming holidays, or buy the variety pack to enjoy them throughout the year. Once you try these, you will fall in love with them!

Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Be sure that you use an Instant Pudding mix.
- You can use regular vanilla flavored pudding mix or french vanilla pudding.
- You can use Salted or Unsalted Butter. Salted is my preferred choice.
- Swap out the color of M&Ms based on the season. If you are making chocolate chip M&M cookies just because, use the variety pack.
- After mixing in the M&Ms I love to add some extras to the top after I scoop the dough onto the tray.
Storage
You will want to store your chocolate chip M&M cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. These will stay fresh for about 1 week.
Freezer
You can freeze these cookies before or after they are baked.
If you prefer to freeze them prior to baking you will want to scoop your cookie dough onto a tray that is lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer until hardened.
Once hardened, move them to a freezer-safe bag or container. When you are ready to enjoy, remove the desired amount of dough balls on a parchment-lined cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes and add 1-2 minutes to the original baking time.
To freeze after they are baked, let them completely cool and then place in a freezer-safe bag.
