Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • If you are not serving immediately, set your crockpot to warm after cooking.
  • If you find yourself without heavy cream you can use milk. It will not thicken as much but will still taste delicious.
  • Get Creative! Toss in some raisins or your favorite nut to change the flavor of this recipe.
  • You want to be sure to use at least a 6 qt crockpot for this recipe. In a smaller crockpot, this casserole will not cook quite right.
  • If you want to make more icing, just add a little bit of milk to the icing and mix it together.

Storage

You will want to store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Reheating

To reheat your casserole, place the desired amount on a plate and heat in the microwave in 15 second intervals.
