Tips Tricks and FAQs
- If you can’t find Kings Hawaiian Rolls you can use slider buns if you prefer.
- Don’t pull your buns apart. It is best to keep all the buns together as a whole when assembling and preparing your sliders. Cut them in half by using a serrated knife.
- Rotisserie chicken is my favorite for this dish, because it is easy, but any cooked chicken will do. You will need 3 cups total.
- This recipe calls for cheddar cheese, but you could also use another favorite like monterey jack cheese, pepperjack, or another kind of your choice.
- For even more flavor, add coleslaw to the sliders after they are cooked or serve it on the side.
Storage
These are best served right away, but you can store it in the fridge for up to 3 days covered or in an airtight container.
When you reheat, the bread will be soggy. You may want to reheat them in the air fryer to crisp them back up.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes, you can prepare these up to 24 hours in advance. Mix the chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Place this in an airtight container in the fridge. When you are ready to bake, remove chicken mixture, cut the rolls and finish assembling and then bake.
