Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • This recipe is super versatile. Swap out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or even butterscotch chips.
  • You could even add caramel bits into the mix for a chewy caramel flavor.
  • If you prefer you can omit the chocolate chips.
  • Use a 1 Tablespoon cookie scoop to ensure all your cookies are the same size.
  • If you are worried about your cookies sticking to the pan, you can use nonstick cooking spray or a piece of parchment paper.
  • Be sure to let your cookies sit for at least 10 minutes on the tray after baking. If you try to move them sooner to the wire cooling rack your cookies will fall apart.
