If you plan to be outdoors here are more ways I have a few ideas. Make these bug repellent mason jars or my essential oil bug spray.
Aloe Vera Cubes
Aloe Vera is one of the best solutions for mild sunburns and frozen aloe vera ice cubes just take it to a whole new level. These not only treat and soothe that burn, it immediately cools your skin which is so overheated from the burn.
The Burn Plant
Did you know that Aloe vera is referred to as the “burn plant,” the perfect natural remedy for a bad sunburn? Aloe Vera cubes are the perfect solution for minor sunburns. Research has shown aloe vera aids the skin in healing from sunburns and mild burns.
I think we have all had an uncomfortable sunburn at some point in our life and the pain can be so distracting. All you want is some soothing relief and that is not always so easy to find.
What Is The Best Aloe Vera To Use
I personally find that the gel-based aloe veras work best. In terms of brand, you can use any of your favorite brands of aloe Vera.
You will find the lotion when frozen will bring you a different texture that thaws a bit differently.
How Long Does It Take For Aloe Vera To Heal A Sunburn
Depending on the severity of your sunburn will bring different results. You will find that some sunburns will heal faster.
It also depends on the person and how their body reacts. As soon as you apply aloe Vera to the skin it can start soothing and helping to heal the burn.
Can I Make Ice Cubes With An Aloe Plant
Yes, you can. All you need to do is cut off a piece of your aloe plant and peel the outside.
Place the aloe piece in an ice cube to freeze. It will work just as well as the gel. Just make sure to peel all the skin off the aloe. That way it applies smoothly to your skin.
Storing Ice Cubes
You can leave your aloe cubes in an ice cube tray, or once frozen place them in a freezer bag. Either way, you can store them for months in the freezer.
These ice cube aloe veras are also great to have on hand in case you get burned at home. Whether cooking on the stove or while repairing your vehicle.
Aloe vera does wonders for a variety of burns. Give these easy aloe cubes a try and let me know how you like them.
