Valentine’s Day Jello Parfaits
This Valentine’s Day, why not bring a scrumptious sweet treat to the table to share with kids and adults alike? With just four simple ingredients and a few minutes of prep time, these Valentine’s Day Jello Parfaits are sure to be a hit! Not only are they easy to make and look great, but their delicious strawberry jello and raspberry filling combination creates a festive, flavorful parfait that everyone can enjoy.
Valentine’s Day Jello Parfaits
I love serving festive treats around Valentine’s Day. Some of our favorites are our Valentine’s Day Truffles, our Valentine’s Day dip, and of course these Valentine’s Day Jello Parfaits. These parfaits will be a hit at your house! They are super festive and look fancy (thanks to the jello at an angle) but they are so easy to make. Once you make these, your kids will look forward to them every Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients:
- 1 box Strawberry Jell-O (3 oz size)
- Fresh Raspberries or Strawberries
- 2 ½ C whipped topping
- Red sprinkles
How to Make Valentine’s Day Jello Parfaits
- Prepare Jell-0 according to the package directions.
- Take 2/3 cup of jello and set aside
- Chop fruit (strawberries or raspberries)
- Add fruit to remaining ⅓ cup of jello
- Spoon jello into 5 wine glasses or dessert cups
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill glasses at an angle until jello is fully set
- Fold whipped topping into the remaining jello that includes the fruit
- Spoon whipped topping mixture into glasses of jello be sure to do this carefully as to not poke through the set jello
- Garnish with sprinkles and fruit
- Enjoy!
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- You can easily use another flavor of red jello if you prefer.
- Double the recipe if you are serving a crowd.
- The best way to place your glasses at an angle is to lay them in an 8×8 glass dish or 13×9 glass dish. You can also use a bread pan if you prefer. Just be careful it doesn’t spill as you carry it to the fridge to set.
- Be sure to add the dollop of whipped cream and fruit to the top right before you serve.
- Feel free to top with other festive treats like sprinkles or chocolate Valentine candy.
Storage
Store these in the fridge for up to 3 days. You will want to keep them covered to prevent them from drying out.
Can I make these jello parfaits ahead of time?
Yes, you will want to make these ahead of time. You can make the jello up to 24 hours in advance and then I would add the creamy layer within 4 hours of serving. Add the whipped cream and fruit right before serving.
Can I swap out the colors for other holidays?
Of course. These jello parfaits can work for any occasion just swap jello colors/ flavors and fruit with your preferred holiday or occasion.
