How to Make Snowman Cookies
- Break each of the pretzel sticks in half, and stick two of the halves into each marshmallow at an angle to make the arms for the snowmen. Place them on a plate or serving tray.
- Heat the white candy melts per package instructions. Once melted, and smooth and creamy, open a sandwich bag and drape it over your hand. Fill the bag with the melted candy, and cut the tip with kitchen shears.
- Pipe some of the melted candy onto the top of the marshmallow, and immediately place a White Fudge Covered Oreo Bite on top. You will need to hold the oreo for about 30-45 seconds to make sure it sets and hardens a bit before you place it back on the plate/tray. Repeat this process for all of the marshmallows.
- Next, pipe some melted candy onto the bottom of the marshmallow, and attach a White Fudge Covered Oreo. Again, you will need to hold it for about 30-45 seconds to set. If it doesn’t feel set, you can add some additional melted candy around the Oreo.
- Pipe tiny dots on the face of the Oreo Bite, and attach the black pearl sprinkles to be the mouth and eyes, and a carrot sprinkle to be the nose. Next, pipe three dots down the middle of the marshmallow, and add more black pearl sprinkles for the buttons.
- Last, melt the blue candy melts per package instructions. Repeat step 2 with the blue candy melts. Pipe a blue collar around the top of the marshmallow, and then add two lines coming down the marshmallow to create a scarf. Let sit for 1 minute for the candy to harden, and then they are ready to be enjoyed.
Tips & Tricks
- Work Quickly: Candy melts harden fast, so have all your materials ready before you start assembling.
- Extra Stability: If a piece feels wobbly, use a little extra melted candy to secure it—it acts like edible glue!
- Use Tweezers for Sprinkles: For precise placement of the eyes, buttons, and noses, use clean kitchen tweezers or toothpicks.
- Experiment with Colors: You can use red candy melts for scarves or add glittery sugar for extra sparkle.
