Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • This recipe is so quick thanks to the addition of canned shrimp, but if you prefer you can cook your own shrimp as well. Be sure that you peel and devein them prior to adding them to the salad. Smaller shrimp work best with this recipe.
  • You can use any noodles that you prefer with this recipe. I typically use shell noodles, but any bite size noodle will work.
  • Be sure to cool your noodles prior to adding them to the salad. You can easily do this by running them under cold water after you have cooked them.

Storage

You will want to store your leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

Can I make this Shrimp Pasta Salad ahead of time?

Yes, you can make this dish ahead of time, in fact, I recommend it! You will want to cover and refrigerate your salad for at least one hour prior to serving. I like to make it in the morning and then serve it at night. Right before serving you can add additional dill if you prefer.
