Purple Rain Cocktail
I love enjoying a good cocktail after the kids go to bed, and I have to say that this Purple Rain Cocktail is one of my go-to favorites, this and a Raspberry Lime Rickey.
It is the perfect drink to serve at parties, sitting next to the pool, or on the porch relaxing.
Why I love this Purple Rain Cocktail Drink
I love this drink because it is so easy! It is shaken and has no ice added. That way I can make a big batch and keep it in the fridge for a day or two. When I am ready to enjoy it, I just pull it out and pour it over ice and start relaxing in no time.
How did the purple rain cocktail get its name?
The purple rain cocktail was named after Prince who died on April 21, 2016. This drink is the perfect tribute to one of the greatest music artists of all time, named after one of his greatest hits, Purple Rain.
The purple rain cocktail is the cocktail of the day on June 7, the day Prince Rogers Nelson was born.
