Pierogi Casserole
Casseroles are my go-to dish when I have a busy day ahead of me! More often than not you can prep them ahead of time and then just pop them in the oven for a nice hot meal that is ready when you are. As an added bonus, casseroles are an inexpensive way to feed a big crowd that still tastes delicious.
This Pierogi Casserole is no exception. You will love how quickly this dish comes together, the flavor it has, and the happy faces of your family and friends as they ask for seconds and thirds.
Add this to our favorite casseroles with our Tator Tot Casserole and our Ritz Chicken Casserole as easy go-to meals that are prepped in minutes!

What are in Pierogies?
Pierogies are dumplings that originated from Eastern Europe. Typically they are filled with a mixture of potato, meat, cheeses, or vegetables. Now you can find several different varieties at the store.
Make-Ahead
You can easily make this dish in the morning and cover and place it in the fridge until you are ready to bake. I would not assemble it more than 8 hours ahead of time.
Crockpot Variation
You can easily make this in the crockpot. You will want to add in all the ingredients and mix them together and then cook on high for 2-3 hours. If you are using frozen Pierogies you will want to add a little more cooking time if needed.
