Can I Use Gingersnaps as The Crust in this Eggnog Dessert
The ginger snap crust is an amazing thing and it would pair nicely with the warm spices. Just buy some ginger snap cookies and then use a food processor to make it like graham cracker crumbs and follow the recipe on the crust portion.
I have done this in the past and it is a nice twist in flavor. I didn’t have any on hand at the moment so I reached for the classic graham cracker crust.

A mix of creamy eggnog, pudding, and cool whip. Trust me these 3 ingredients when combined create one of the most velvety and rich flavors the filling will blow you away.

To be honest I have not tried to freeze these bars. They normally don’t last very long in my home with the boys.
You could try freezing some if you would like. But there is a chance it could separate a bit once it thaws.

How long does this recipe last for when made?
Keep it refrigerated and it should be fine for 5 days. I would just be sure the eggnog you use has a expiration date at least that long.
Garnish with canned whipped cream or Cool Whip? Which would you advise would be the lightest and easiest to keep small dabs?
I honestly love cool whip but if you would like a cute little dollop, than the canned whipped cream usually does not disappoint.
