What To Serve With Ham Dinner

This is an all-in-one recipe but feel free to add in some dinner rolls, crisp green salad, side of cranberry, or anything else. Feel free to serve this as a holiday dish, or weeknight meal. Do whatever sounds best.

What Type of Ham To Use For Ham Dinner Recipe

You want to buy a pre-cooked ham. That is because it has a very short cook time. If you buy a ham that is raw it will not cook through. This is mainly to cook the veggies and then warm the ham up. So reach for a ham that is pre-cooked. Use a boneless or bone-in. It is all about your personal preference.

Can I Make This Ham Dinner In The Ninja Foodi

Yes, you sure can. You will want to use the pressure cooker setting on your Foodi. It will treat your ham and veggies just like it would in the Instant Pot which is really nice.

If you choose to cook this in the oven, you will cook until the veggies are tender and cooked through. This will take around an hour or longer at 350 degrees. If you don’t want your meat to dry out then put a lid on the pan you are using in the oven or wrap in aluminum foil.

What Is The Best Broth To Use In This Ham Dinner Recipe

You can use water or broth. If you use broth you could easily reach for a vegetable broth to go along with all the veggies to help add flavor to your ham. But feel free to use whatever broth you have on hand. Any will work, and just mildly adjust the flavor of the overall dish.

  1. Just got an instant pot for Christmas and for Christmas dinner with my mother I decided to do a ham one pot dinner. Normally do a boiled dinner but I found this and it’s awesome! So awesome it cooks in about a half hour! I used to spend all day doing a boiled dinner but this takes no time! Ham came out moist and delicious! I pre cut my ham some and used water. I’m making it again but this time I’m using little potatoes rather then cutting one up. Last time I cut them too small and turned to mush. Great meal! Thank you!
