Tips Tricks and FAQs
- If blackberries are too expensive or out of season, you can use frozen berries, just be sure to thaw them first.
- Use fresh frozen lemon juice. While it does take a little more time and effort the flavor is well worth it. You will need about 4 large lemons to create one cup of lemon juice.
- Use room temperature lemons when making this lemonade.
- Do not miss the step where you strain the berries. This removes the pulp and seeds from the berries.
- Over time, you will notice the blackberry lemonade start to separate while storing, be sure to mix it well before pouring a glass.
- Try this recipe with any type of berry.
- Feel like a little bit of fizz? Swap out the water with carbonated water.
Storage
Store in a container in the fridge. Depending on how fresh your berries are this will keep up to one week.
