These Air Fryer Stuffed Bagel Minis are soft and chewy on the outside with a warm, creamy cream cheese center. Best of all, they’re incredibly easy to make from scratch with just 5 simple ingredients and are ready in about 15 minutes.
If you love the little cream cheese stuffed bagels you’ve seen at coffee shops or popping up in the freezer aisle, this homemade version is surprisingly simple. There’s no yeast, no waiting for dough to rise, and no complicated bagel-making process. The easy Greek yogurt dough comes together in minutes, and the air fryer gives the outside that delicious golden finish while keeping the inside soft.
These are perfect for a quick breakfast, brunch, after-school snack, or anytime you’re craving a warm bagel and cream cheese.
What You Will Love About This Recipe
Only 5 ingredients. You don’t need a long ingredient list to make homemade stuffed bagel bites.
No yeast or rising time. The dough is made with self-rising flour and Greek yogurt, so you can mix it and start shaping the bagels right away.
Ready in about 15 minutes. They’re an easy option when you want something homemade without spending the morning in the kitchen.
Made in the air fryer. The outside turns beautifully golden while the inside stays soft and chewy.
Cream cheese in every bite. Instead of slicing and spreading a bagel, the cream cheese is tucked right inside.
Easy to customize. Keep them plain, add everything bagel seasoning, or experiment with different cream cheese flavors.
Ingredients
You only need a handful of ingredients to make these homemade stuffed bagel minis.
Self-Rising Flour
Self-rising flour gives the dough its lift without yeast.
Don’t have self-rising flour? Make your own with:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Whisk everything together well before using it in the recipe.
Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt combines with the flour to make the simple two-ingredient bagel dough. You can use nonfat or full-fat Greek yogurt.
For the best dough consistency, use thick Greek yogurt rather than regular yogurt.
Cream Cheese
Block-style cream cheese works especially well because it’s easy to cut into pieces and place inside the dough.
Egg
A beaten egg creates the egg wash that helps give the stuffed bagels their beautiful golden finish.
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Everything bagel seasoning is optional, but it’s one of my favorite ways to finish these. You can also leave them plain or use sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or another favorite bagel topping.
How to make Air Fryer Copycat Dunkin Donuts Stuffed Bagel Minis
- Mix together the yogurt and flour until it becomes a ball of dough.

- Lightly dust your work surface. Place the dough on it and continue to knead it a few times until the dough is no longer sticking to your hands.

- Divide the dough into 8 balls.

- Place 1 ball in your hand and create a hole in the center.
- Place a piece of cream cheese into the hole, and cover the cream cheese over with dough. Try to keep the cheese in the center and the dough evenly surrounding it.

- Shape into a nice round ball.

- Baste each completely with egg wash.

- Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, if using.

- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees.
- Air fry for 10 minutes (no turning is needed). Check at the 8-minute mark, mine only took 8 ½ minutes to cook.
My Tips for the Best Stuffed Bagel Bites
Don’t Add Too Much Flour
The dough can feel a little sticky at first. Lightly flour your hands and work surface, but try not to keep adding large amounts of flour. Too much can make the finished bagels heavier instead of soft and tender.
Seal the Cream Cheese Completely
This is probably the most important step. Pinch the seams together well so the cream cheese stays inside instead of leaking out while the bagels cook.

After sealing the dough, gently roll it between your hands to create a smooth ball.

Keep the Cream Cheese in the Center
Try to keep a fairly even layer of dough around the filling. If one section of dough is extremely thin, the cream cheese is more likely to escape during cooking.
Watch Them Near the End
Air fryer temperatures and cooking times vary from one model to another. Start checking at about 8 minutes rather than automatically cooking them for the full 10 minutes.
Give Them a Minute to Cool
The outside may be ready to eat immediately, but that cream cheese center gets very hot. Let the bagel minis rest for a few minutes before serving.
Stuffed Bagel Mini Variations
Once you know how easy these are to make, there are so many ways to change them up.
Plain Bagel Minis: Skip the everything bagel seasoning and just use the egg wash.
Chive Cream Cheese: Use chive or chive-and-onion cream cheese for a savory version.
Veggie Cream Cheese: Try your favorite flavored vegetable cream cheese.
Sesame Bagels: Replace the everything seasoning with sesame seeds.
Poppy Seed Bagels: Sprinkle the tops with poppy seeds before air frying.
Cheesy Bagels: Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheese over the egg wash before air frying.
Just remember that softer cream cheese spreads can be a little messier to seal inside the dough than firm block-style cream cheese.
Can I Make These With All-Purpose Flour?
Yes!
If you don’t have self-rising flour, combine:
1 cup all-purpose flour + 1½ teaspoons baking powder + ¼ teaspoon salt.
Whisk them together thoroughly and use the mixture in place of the 1 cup of self-rising flour called for in the recipe.
This is one of my favorite substitutions because it means you don’t have to buy an entire bag of self-rising flour just to make one recipe.
Can I Bake Stuffed Bagel Minis Instead?
Yes. If you don’t have an air fryer, bake the stuffed bagels in a 375°F oven for approximately 12 to 15 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
The texture may be slightly different from the air fryer version, but they’re still delicious.
Storage & Reheating
Because these bagel minis contain cream cheese, leftovers should be refrigerated.
Let them cool completely and then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
How to Reheat Stuffed Bagel Minis in the Air Fryer
Reheat them at 350°F for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until warmed through.
The air fryer is my favorite way to reheat them because it brings back that slightly crisp exterior.
You can also microwave them for a quicker option, although the outside will be softer.
Can You Freeze Stuffed Bagel Minis?
Yes. These are also a great make-ahead breakfast or snack.
I recommend cooking them first and allowing them to cool completely. Freeze them in a single layer until firm, then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container.
Reheat directly from frozen or allow them to thaw in the refrigerator first, adding additional reheating time as needed.
What to Serve With Stuffed Bagel Minis
These cream cheese stuffed bagel bites are delicious on their own, but they’re also an easy addition to breakfast or brunch.
Serve them with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, bacon, or your favorite coffee for an easy breakfast.
They’re also the perfect size for a brunch spread or snack board.
My Experience Making Stuffed Bagel Minis
One of the reasons I keep coming back to this recipe is just how easy the dough is to work with. You get that warm bagel-and-cream-cheese combination without making traditional yeast dough, waiting for it to rise, boiling bagels, or making a separate cream cheese spread.
I especially love them topped with everything bagel seasoning. The seasoning adds that classic savory bagel flavor while the cream cheese stays tucked inside.
My biggest tip is to start checking the air fryer early. Mine can be done at around 8½ minutes, and a minute or two can make a noticeable difference with such small bagels.

These were so easy and good, have you ever stuffed them with meat?
I have not yet. but I bet it would be delicious. I would love to hear your results if you give it a try. 🙂
Can you prepare the dough with (stuffed with cream cheese) the night before stored in the fridge and air fry in the morning?
You can make the dough up to 2 days in advance when not stuffing it. My best guess is yes, I think you should be able to make these in advance and then air fry in the am. I am going to put this on my list of things to test out, if you happen to try it first, I would love to hear your results. 🙂
@Melissa,
These where so easy, thank you for the recipe. I used my convection oven and were perfect.
Can you use flavored cream cheese instead of the block cream cheese?
Defintely!
Can you put them on two trays in the air fryer?
Yes if you air fryer can accommodate two tray, you will just want to alternate positions of the trays mid way so they are evenly cooking. sometimes the upper tray cooks a bit quicker.
