Every time we head out to eat Chinese food there are two things I always order, Chicken Lo Mein and Wonton Soup. Wonton Soup is my absolute favorite though. It is filled with so much flavor, yet so simple. So the last time we went to the restaurant I decided that I wanted to figure out an easy way to recreate this soup even on the busiest days. How to Make Easy Wonton Soup
- Heat a stock pot over medium heat. Add the sesame oil followed by the garlic and ginger. Heat for 30 seconds, being careful not to burn the garlic and ginger.
- To the stock pot, add the chicken stock and bring to a boil.
- Add the frozen wontons to the chicken stock, return to a boil, and cook for about 1 minute.
- Stir in the soy sauce, carrots, and green onions.
- Serve with crispy wonton strips, if desired.

- 8 cups chicken stock
- 1 (24 ounce) package frozen mini wontons

- ½ cup sliced green onions
