Chocolate chip cookie clouds are all the new craze! For good reason too! These light and fluffy chocolate chip cookies take an interesting spin on the traditional recipe so that you end up with these fluffy delicious cookies. You can see why they are called clouds just by looking at them.
To get this fluffy cookie, you will be swapping out the butter with cream cheese. I was sold on cream cheese from the start. The results are delicious. One of my boys swears it’s the best chocolate chip cookie he has ever tasted.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Clouds
Ingredients
- 2 1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 TSP Baking Soda
- 1 TSP Salt
- 1 8- ounce Package Cream Cheese, Softened
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Cups semisweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl, blend flour, baking soda and salt well. Set aside.
- In another bowl, add the cream cheese, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Start beating with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, continue beating until combined.
- Gradually start adding in the flour, 1/3 at a time. Beat until all the flour is well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop round spoonfuls (I used an ice cream scoop) on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes. Cookies will be starting to get light brown, the bottoms will have a nice golden tone. Remove from oven.
- Grab milk and enjoy while warm.

Do these cookies keep well? I need to ship them to another state.
Mine lasted about 4-5 days in a sealed container. They may have lasted even longer except we ate them all. 🙂
