Red, White & Blue Vitamin Fruit Infused Vitamin Water
We have talked about my new journey to better health. With that journey I am trying to make some changes for my boys as well. The more I read about all the benefits of drinking water, the more I want them to drink water with me. The reality is, it’s definitely not their first choice. So to make it more appealing, I did a version of my fruit infused vitamin water with my boys in mind completely.
I have catered the taste to some of their favorite fruits, blueberries, apples, and strawberries. With July 4th approaching and the colors of my fruit fitting perfectly into that theme, I decided to cut my apples into star shapes. Adorbs! This drink is not only kid-friendly, but this combination of flavors is also one of my favorites.
Can I Make This Infused Water In Advance
Absolutely! You can take your water and make it ahead of time and store in the fridge. You will want it to sit for at least four hours. This is how you will let the fruit infuse into the water.
If you drink it all right away then it won’t have the flavor of the fruit at all.
Can I Change The Fruit In This Water
You are more than welcome to swap out fruit or add different fruit in. Just think of all the fruit together and if you think it will taste good. If so feel free to mix and match.
I just wanted a patriotic family-friendly drink that everyone can enjoy. So I created a tasty infused water full of nutrients and a great way to hydrate on a hot day.
Can I Double This Recipe
You sure can! All you need to do is make sure that you have a large enough container! Then make as much or as little as you would like of this vitamin water.
I have made this so many times and it is always a hit. You can also freeze your fruit and toss in to help keep the water cold instead of water down as the ice melts.
How Long Can You Store Vitamin Infused Water
You will find that you can store your infused water for 2-4 days. It is all about when the fruit starts to go bad. You will want to toss it out. I normally will hit around 2-3 days/ But, we also drink it pretty fast.
This is a fantastic way to ensure you get enough water into your daily diet. Feel free to whip it up and let me know what you think!
