What can I say, I am a marinade lady! I love having a go to guaranteed delicious marinade. I have two really awesome marinade recipes, World’s Best Steak Marinade and World’s Best Pork Marinade. I have to say they are both delicious! I was on a quest to find a delicious chicken marinade. I must confess, I make a LOT of chicken. This Asian Chicken Marinade recipe has my boys asking for more!
This recipe has the same essence of my other marinade recipes. I had too! The flavor is what makes all of these marinades World’s Best! I could not be more excited with the final product. The chicken is so tender from cooking in this marinade, that you barely need a knife to cut it. Serve it over rice and pour some of the marinade over your rice too.
- Chicken Parts, I like boneless chicken thighs
- Olive Oil Spray, if you don't have regular cooking spray will be fine
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/3 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 TBSP Honey
- 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- I usually cook for 6 so I double up the recipe
- In a large pan, I use a large deep frying pan, spray with cooking spray and brown the chicken on high for 3-4 minutes. Brown each side. Add water, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, honey, garlic and cook on high until the liquid comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes (turning chicken mid way). Remove the cover and heat back to high. Allow sauce to reduce down a bit. Cook about 8-10 minutes. Serve chicken over rice with plenty of marinade.
