This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BODYARMOR for my participation with the BlogginMamas campaign.

As you all know, I have 4 boys.   4 very active, very sports minded boys.  What that means for me is I am a sports Mom.  There was no way to fight it, I think once you have been to your 10th game for your kids, you are officially a sports Mom.  The scary part is, I actually fit the bill.  There I am grumbling about the referees, cheering my boys on with so much vocals I may occasionally end up with a raspy voice.  Racing back home for my son forgotten cup (yes that is one thing I don’t keep in my sports bag, hmmm maybe I should).  Grabbing an ice pack to help soothe a banged up knee.  Heck, I even travel with my own mini first aid kit.

As my boys have gotten older, their games seem to have gotten further away.  There is nothing worse than being far from home and realizing that you have forgotten something that you really need.  Since I consider myself an expert, of sorts, on the Mommy sport bag essentials, I wanted to save you some unnecessary, learning it the hard way.

First before I give you my list of essentials….I wanted to talk to you about my number one most essential item.  Making sure my boys stay hydrated is my number biggest concern for any game.  All 4 of my boys have and do play baseball.  Here in New Jersey it can get pretty darn hot by the end of the season.  Did you know that being just 2% dehydrated can start to hinder your body’s ability to perform.  My go to sports drink is BODYARMOR, the #1 natural sports drink.

BODYARMOR is a premium sports drink with more potassium packed electrolytes, coconut water and vitamins. BODYARMOR has natural flavors, natural sweeteners and no artificial colors, unlike traditional sports drinks. It’s a GREAT choice for young athletes especially, who don’t need all the extra sodium in their diets or the artificial ingredients that come from drinking other sports drinks on the market.

BODYARMOR comes in 8-great tasting flavors: fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, lemon lime, mixed berry, grape and blackout berry. Many of today’s top athletes choose BODYARMOR as their sports drink of choice, including: Mike Trout, Andrew Luck, James Harden, Buster Posey, Richard Sherman, Dez Bryant, Skylar Diggins and Sydney LeRoux.

I love that I can stock up while shopping at Target or Stop and Shop.  I especially love that I can grab it last-minute at any WaWa.  Check here to see where you can find it locally.  Then click here to print out a coupon.
